Calling all Hello Kitty (ハロー・キティ) lovers!! Finally, you can also find Hello Kitty Cafe in Jakarta, Indonesia now! Located at the most strategic F&B area - Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Hello Kitty Cafe has predominated its position amongst other restaurants as it is the first fictional character's licensed theme restaurant that came into this main city.

The majority of this cafe's interior design is in Pink, however, you'll also notice few other pastel colors like White, Soft Green, Light Blue, and Yellow in its surroundings which honestly make everything CUTER (even each of the wooden chair is given an additional Hello Kitty's pink bow on it). Thanks to Sanrio, this cafe has an utterly adorable character that almost everyone in the world knows about its existence. Talking about my first visit impression, it was just "Wow" as I was amazed by its lovely Hello Kitty theme decorations. The decor matches well with Hello Kitty's bright personality.

I actually has thought if 'Hello Kitty Cafe could be expanded to Indo one day' since a long time ago....and it was great because they made it into reality since May 2016. For your information, this kind of cafe is also famous in other countries, especially in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. Although this cafe is obviously more popular among pre-adolescent females and kids, but who said that boys wouldn't come in? I think this is a great place for dating or simply for having a casual-fun dining with your family too.

So, what are their menus? They served plenty of Western foods but I'd recommend you to order certain dishes like: Spaghetti Bolognese 65k, Chicken Fight 78k, Hello Kitty Donut 38k, and drinks: Iced Lemon Tea 25k, Watermelon Slush 32k.

Spaghetti Bolognese
A spaghetti with meat sauce. It is creamy and a bit oily, poured with mozarella cheese sauce, and best to be consumed while it's hot.

Chicken Fight 
This is a battered fried chicken, combined with Hello Kitty waffle and mozarella cheese. The waffle is baked nicely and it tastes great! The texture of the waffle is soft and the fried chicken is crispy. I love the way they arranged the food as well. It's pretty and cute.

Hello Kitty Donut
Just a simple and lovely Hello Kitty shaped doughnut that comes with various flavours. I chose a strawberry flavour as I wanted it to be in pink color :P It tastes sweet and has a combination of green tea powder which was sprinkled in a Hello Kitty shape on your right bottom corner. Although the price is considered as relatively high for only one piece of doughnut, but how could you resist for not ordering this cute stuff anyway?

Iced Lemon Tea
It is basically a general ice lemon tea, but the only good thing here, it's homemade & fresh! 

Watermelon Slush
It is a fresh and sweet watermelon juice slushy.

To summarize it, Hello Kitty Cafe is such a pleasant and cute dining place in town. Good news for all of you, they also have a private function area that can be decorated according to your wants on your special days, such as: birthday, bridal shower, baby shower, workshop, and many more.
